Joaquin Phoenix is now a Rapper?

Published by leighdu at 11:58 am under Entertainment Edit This

After hearing one of my favorite actors ever ( literally I’ve been watching this guy since he was in Space Camp back when I had a huge crush on his brother River) had turned from acting to rap, I was pretty shocked to say the least. But since he’s such a good actor, he should have no problem being a great rapper too right ? WRONG (see video below).

Fortunately after seeing the video, I am hearing it was all a hoax. Apparently Joaquin and buddy Casey Affleck, whose married to his sister Summer, planned the scheme to make it seem like Joaquin lost his mind, turned to rapping, then stressed out and fell on stage.

I guess you can call this one of the worst publicity stunts at its finest, and Joaquin, please stick to acting, but just don’t cast yourself as a rapper…EVER

There is no doubt in my mind that this is a HOAX! Joaquin is one of my favorite all-time actors. There is no way he would stoop to this level and give up his greatest talent. I am ecstatic that it is a hoax and that he didn’t lose him freakin’ mind. Hoping to see him in the movies soon and we can all have a nice laugh at his attempt at lunacy!

I think Joaquin is extremely smart but a bit eccentric too, and this was his way of making a practical joke. I just can’t see the guy ever turning into the next wanna be Eminem.

I think that Joaquin should stick to acting. He is a pretty good actor and I think that he should just do that. There seem to be a lot of celebrities that get bit by the singing bug and they are rarely taken seriously for it.
